JAWLINE & CHIN FILLER

Dermal filler can be used to define the jawline and chin, resculpting and rebalancing the face as subtly or as dramatically as you prefer. In masculinisation treatments, this may involve enhancing the squaring of the lower face, while feminisation often focuses on softening these angles and balancing the overall face shape—sometimes using cheek filler to create a more heart-shaped appearance.

At our east London aesthetics clinic, we offer tailored jawline and chin filler treatments to achieve definition, chiselling, and even reduction of sagging, such as the jowls—sometimes referred to as the "HD jawline". A double chin can also be reduced with a separate fat-dissolving treatment, or dermal filler can be strategically placed to tighten and sharpen the jawline. Additionally, chin filler can help correct a short chin or mild underbite, improving the side profile for a more balanced appearance.

Dr. Mike has been enhancing patients' features with hyaluronic acid dermal filler for over 16 years, teaching his techniques to thousands of practitioners worldwide. During your complimentary consultation, he will discuss your goals and create a personalised treatment plan to help you achieve your desired look.
Is jawline & chin filler right for me?

If you'd like to see an improvement in the definition of your jaw, a reduction in jowls, reduction in double chin, masculinisation or feminisation of your face shape, facial rebalancing of your side profile due to a mild underbite or correction of an asymmetry, this is a good option for you.

How long does it last?

Jawline & chin filler are temporary, although it is fairly long-lasting and can be easily topped up. We would expect it, in these areas, to last 6-12 months depending on the client.

Will it hurt?

A strong anaesthetic numbing cream will be applied to the area ahead of injecting. This will minimise discomfort. The filler itself also contains lidocaine which will optimise comfort levels throughout. Additionally, as Michael has vast experience in injecting dermal filler, his technique will also limit discomfort.

What volume to go for?
This is between you and Dr Mike to decide during your consultation depending on the desired results. Typically we use 2-4ml on most clients during this procedure, but sometimes as little as 1ml is all that is required. Every patient is different, and the results can be as subtle or as pronounced as you like.

What will it cost?
Our dermal filler for the jawline & chin at Astral Skin Clinic is £230 for 1ml and £100 per extra ml thereafter.

What is the downtime?
As with all injections, it is possible that some slight swelling or bruising will occur for 2-3 days. We ask that you try to refrain from touching the area or applying cream or makeup directly after the procedure. That being said, as treatments go, there is very little downtime, the results are instant and makeup and creams can be applied after 12 hours.
